Privacy Policy — Simple Yoga

Simple Yoga ("we," "us," "our") is developed by Apposite Labs Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Photos you take or upload

When you use Simple Yoga to check a pose, the app processes a photo of you using on-device pose detection. This photo, and the resulting score, are stored locally on your device only — they are never uploaded to us or any third party, and are not used to identify you. You can delete this data at any time from Settings → Clear all progress, or by uninstalling the app.

Camera and photo library access

The app requests permission to use your camera and photo library so you can take or select a photo to analyse. These permissions are used only for that purpose.

Advertising data

Simple Yoga is ad-supported on Android. We use Google AdMob to display ads, which may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads, including personalised ads where you've given consent. Where required (for example, in the UK and EEA), we show a consent form before any personalised advertising, and you can change your choice at any time from Settings → Ad privacy options. Crash and diagnostic data

We use Sentry to collect crash reports so we can fix bugs. This is limited to technical diagnostic information (such as device type and what caused a crash) — we do not track your activity, sessions, or usage patterns.

Stock photography

The pose library displays reference images from Pexels. Loading these images may involve a request to Pexels' servers, but no personal or user-identifying data is sent as part of this.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, or account information — Simple Yoga does not require an account or login. We do not access your contacts, location, or any data beyond what's described above.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Your pose history, photos, and progress are stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage. This data remains on your device until you delete it (via Settings) or uninstall the app. We do not have access to this data and cannot retrieve it on your behalf.

4. Children's Privacy

Simple Yoga is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

5. Your Choices

• Ad consent: change or withdraw your ad consent at any time via Settings → Ad privacy options.
• Notifications: turn practice reminders on or off via Settings → Practice reminders.
• Your data: clear all saved progress and photos at any time via Settings → Clear all progress.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
