Terms of Service — Papered

1. Who we are

The Papered mobile application ("App") is operated by Apposite Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17153038) with its registered office at 321–323 High Road, Chadwell Heath, RM6 6AX, United Kingdom.

2. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Service and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These terms apply to all users of the App, including users who purchase poster prints through it.

3. Use of the App

The App is free to download and provides access to AI-generated wallpapers. You may:

• Browse, download, and set wallpapers as personal device backgrounds
• Purchase poster prints of wallpapers
• Save wallpapers to your device photo library

You may not:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute App content in bulk
• Use wallpapers or poster imagery for commercial purposes without our written consent
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure

4. Intellectual property

All AI-generated wallpapers, images, and visual content displayed in the App are the intellectual property of Apposite Labs Ltd. By using the App, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

• Use wallpapers as personal device backgrounds on your own devices
• Display purchased poster prints in private, non-commercial settings

This licence does not permit resale, sublicensing, commercial display, redistribution, or use in any other product or service without our prior written consent.

5. Advertisements

The free version of the App is funded by advertising delivered via Google AdMob. By using the App you acknowledge that advertisements may be displayed. On iOS, personalised ads are shown only with your consent via the Apple App Tracking Transparency prompt. You may opt out of personalised ads at any time via your device settings.

6. Our products (poster prints)

We offer print-on-demand premium matte poster prints in three sizes:

Posters are printed on premium satin paper (210 g/m²) with a low-glare finish, for indoor use only. Each poster is printed on demand specifically for your order and is therefore a personalised, made-to-order item. Due to the production process, please allow for slight size deviations with a tolerance of +/- 1/16".

7. How an order is placed

When you tap "Buy Poster" and complete checkout, you are making an offer to purchase. Our acceptance of your order takes place when your payment is confirmed, at which point a binding contract is formed between you and Apposite Labs Ltd. You will receive an order confirmation.

8. Price and payment

• Prices are displayed in USD at checkout
• A shipping charge is added at checkout before payment
• Shipping is $5.99 USD for orders delivered to the United States, United Kingdom, or Japan
• Shipping is $12.99 USD for all other destinations
• Payment is processed securely — we never see or store your card details

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price that applies to your order is the price shown at the time you complete checkout.

9. Delivery

We ship worldwide. The fulfilment network selects the best available print provider based on your location to ensure the fastest delivery and best quality.

• Standard delivery typically takes 7–15 business days from the date your order enters production, depending on destination
• Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed
• Risk of loss passes to you once the package is handed to the courier
• We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, courier, or circumstances outside our control

10. Right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the standard 14-day right to cancel does not apply to goods that are made to your specifications or are clearly personalised. Because every poster is printed to order, your statutory right to cancel is limited once production has begun.

This does not affect your rights in respect of faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied goods — see Section 11.

11. Faulty, damaged, or lost orders

If your poster arrives damaged, has a printing defect, or is confirmed lost in transit, we will provide a free replacement or full refund. Please contact us at info@appositelabs.co.uk within 14 days of delivery with your order ID and photographs where applicable.

We cannot offer refunds or replacements for:

• Change of mind
• Ordering the wrong size (please choose carefully)
• Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by you

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or equivalent applicable consumer protection law.

12. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Breach of your statutory consumer rights

Subject to the above, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the total price you paid for the affected products. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss.

The App is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

13. Third-party services

The App uses third-party services for payments, print fulfilment, infrastructure, advertising, and crash reporting. Each is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

14. App availability and changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version in effect when your order is accepted. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms and any contract formed under them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers resident outside England and Wales retain the protections of the mandatory rules of their country of residence.
