a) Information You Provide

• Inputs entered into calculators (weight, karat, investment amounts etc.)
• Messages sent via the AI Expert chat feature
• Enquiries submitted via our contact form

b) Automatically Collected Data

• Device information (device type, OS version, unique device identifiers)
• App usage data (features used, session duration, interactions)
• Crash reports and performance diagnostics via Sentry
• IP address (used for rate limiting and security only, not stored long-term)

c) Camera & Images

• The App requests camera access solely to scan gold items
• Photos taken within the App are sent to an AI service for analysis
• Images are not stored by us on any server
• Images are processed in real time and discarded immediately after a response is returned
• Scan results you choose to save are stored locally on your device only

d) Advertising Data

• Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and device information
• On iOS, we request permission before any advertising tracking occurs
• AdMob consent is collected in compliance with GDPR and CCPA before personalised ads are shown

We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may:

• Live gold prices and exchange rates are cached on secure cloud infrastructure
• Scan history is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers
• Our API applies industry-standard security practices
• Rate limiting is applied to all API endpoints to prevent abuse
• No user accounts or personal profiles are created or stored by us

8. Data Retention

• We do not store images submitted for scanning
• Temporary security records used for abuse prevention are deleted automatically
• App usage analytics are retained for up to 12 months
• Local device data (scan history) can be cleared by uninstalling the App

9. Your Rights (GDPR)
